ABOUT THE CHURCH OF FAITH
The Church of Faith was founded by Pastor JC Gomez in 1988. The church, named The Potter and the Clay, began as a small gathering in a backroom of the local store. Eventually, the church moved to its own building and was renamed the Church of Faith.

Pastors JC and Armida Gomez have dedicated their lives to serving the community of Sierra Blanca, TX. Pastor JC graduated from Rhema Bible College in 1988 and founded the Church of Faith the same year in his home town. JC and Armida married in 1993 and have two children, Rachel and Jeremy. With over 20 years of ministry at the Church of Faith, JC and Armida are excited for the movement of God through His Church in this new year.

I graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2017 and became the Youth Pastor at the church, where I have been a member for 27 years. I believe that young people are able to impact their world for Jesus and I am honored to be a part of that journey!"

"I am currently the Children's Pastor and mother of two beautiful children, Liam and Amia, as well as the wife to the very handsome bass player in the praise and worship band, Robert. I have been a member of the church for 15 years. I am also a Junior/High School teacher at SBISD. I have fun teaching kids and have been doing so for over twenty years. They "renew my youth like the eagles."
